F.A.Q.
How To Information on Jug
Fishing and Juglines
Q:
What is the difference between
a Jugline, Fishing Jug, Jug Line?
A:
Nothing, they are all the same
thing. These terms are just very geographical. If you go to different
state
or different region people will call them different things. Juglines,
fishing
jugs, jug lines, jug fishing, jugging, juggin are all the same things.
Q:
Can you only use Redneck's Juglines
for catfish?
A:
Here in Texas, our Jugline Rules
and Regulations state that they can only be used for non-game fish, so
we
use them for Flathead Catfish, Channel Catfish and Blue Catfish.
Different
states have different laws so your local laws will dictate what kind of
fish you can use your juglines for.
Q:
Why are Rednecks Juglines better
than others?
A:
There are several reasons but
Redneck's Original Juglines and Redneck's "Fish On" Flagging Juglines
are both easy to store and both are easy to tell if a fish is on them
or
not, and both can be set to either flag or not. With these two
different
juglines being available, we offer more versatility than any other
procuct
available. If you also compare our fishing jugs to other models
available
(there are a number of different styles available in different regions)
you will find that in a price comparison, Redneck's Juglines cannot be
beat.
We use only the best materials and our juglines are made to last. Once
you
have fished with Redneck's Juglines you will never use another bleach
bottle
jugline or coke bottle jugline again. The entire reason we began the
design
and production of Rednecks Juglines was because we were tired of not
having
any room in our boat because of carrying around 30-40 bleach bottles or
coke bottles. 16 of Rednecks Original Juglines will fit into a milk
crate
and 10 of Redneck's Fish On Flagging Juglines will fit into a 5 gallon
bucket.
Q:
Why are Redneck's Juglines white?
A:
Texas Law dictates that juglines
must be white in color. We have done extensive testing on the water to
check
different colors and have actually found that white is easier to see
than
most colors anyway.
Q:
Can you use Redneck's Juglines
at night?
A:
You bet! Everyone of Redneck's
Juglines comes with a strip of reflective tape so when light hits your
jug
lines at night they light right up. They are quite easy to spot in the
dark.
Q:
How do you sell Redneck's Juglines?
A:
Redneck's Original Juglines are
available in a sixteen pack of Juglines only and a sixteen pack kit
that
includes all of the line, hooks and swivels needed for jug fishing.
Redneck's
